That's why I do my best to understand the situation before parenting it. In fact, I actually try and co-parent with my daughter and she responds well. She's no idiot and knows the difference between right and wrong and my views on what is right and wrong. So long as we continue with our relationship into her teens, I feel confident she'll do well. Of course she'll make a few errors, all I can do is hope there not life altering ones.
