Stone is on a distinguished road

I got pregnant at 19 teen, but I was of age and legal and I do not regret having my child at all, but I wish I would have waited untill I was a little older it's been a hard rough road and I had to grow up EXTREAMLY FAST
and I missed out on alot opportunities going to a good college ect.

I have friends who had teen pregnancy's as yong as 14 and still to this day 10-12 years later there lives are still a mess one of my friends is 24 with a 10 year old daughter. She doesn't have the education to get a good job, her son treats her like crap because of the lack of parenting skills you can aquire at such a young age and sadly to say she will probably be on welfare for the rest of her life. and nobody has seen the father since High School. Situations like this happen every day and it's very sad.

I believe abortion is a personal choice and I do not discriminate the subject, although adoption is also a WONDERFUL solution I think this option is often overlooked. There is no way to stop teen's being sexually active, but teen pregnancy can and always should be prevented. I think it is scary for children to talk to their parents about birth control. you do need the consent of a parent to obtain it.

That's also a tough call on a parent as well, do you hand your daughter birth control pills and say it's o.k. to have sex or forbid them to have sex and make them frightned to converse about it? It's a tough one.
