Head Crabs are a feared enemy in Half Life 2:
They actually jump onto the victims head and take them over in the form of zombies:
Killing a zombie doesn't mean the head crab is dead either, it can still leap at you, try to attach itself to your scalp and iflict untold amounts of damage.
