I happen to find it interesting that some 7000 years ago when Abraham thought his wife could have no children.....that he produced a son with his wife's handmaiden named Ishmael. His wife later did conceive a son who was named Israel. God said then that the two would war until the end of time.
Ishmael was the beginning of the varioius Islamic faiths (of which I know very little about.
Israel was the beginning of Judaism....in which Catholism and Christianity branched off from. They bicker among themselves....but pretty much stand as a block.
With all that being said....I look at the current war on terrorism as a global sibling rivalry.
I'm with you Mondo...I would LOVE to go back in time. Chances are though...we'd find the same wars between the two.....just with less technology.
I do want to add that THIS and any other religious comments I ever make are purely my own point of view.
