I also gave my kids pablum within the first month and they were sleeping through the night at least 7 or 8 hours. I'm really tempted to start erika on the cereal. She was sleeping 7 hours through the night but now i find she's sleeping less than that. She's 2 months old. I think i will give her some at the last feeding and see what happens. My kids didn't die and they were healthy too and they got cereal at about 3 to 4 weeks old.

doubling up on the free stuff would be great! I was surprised the day I got a free can of formula! Powder though and i don't use powder but i can try it later on or maybe use it with her cereals.

now they say to feed the babies iron fortified formulas. So, i bought a case of enfamil A+ when i brought her home which costs me 45.00!! made her super gassy so my doctor told me to take her off of that and go to regular formula. she's been fine ever since.

I did the regular milk thing when they were 6 months old. right to 2%. now they say not until they're at least 1 year and it's homo...they do prefer 2 years though!! can you imagine? by the time my kids were 8 months old, they were drinking regular milk and eating what we were eating (I would put it in a blender). I can't believe how they change things all the time. I agree. I don't think they themselves really know what they're talking about. LOL!
