I had cervical abnormal cells while pregnant with my daughter. They froze it. When I got pregnant again two years later....the cells had returned and were invasive. They took the baby as early as possible with him still being very healthy and did the cervical removal shortly after he was born. (They call it a cold knife biopsy...I have no idea why since that sounds so cruel....lol!)
It's my understanding that the cervix is like a sponge and actually grows back. If there are any problems, as far as it staying closed after the baby gets larger, they can simply stitch it and open the stitches once it's time fo the baby to be born.
So...even in the WORST case scenario....you can still have a baby safely.
