Here there's no "pop". If you ask for one, they'll most probably think you mean "Pope" and tell you they don't have this cocktail.
Also, you'd better specify that you want a "Coca" 'cause no one in Paris will ever know what the hell you're saying if you ask for Coke. I am not joking. Practicing English with fake French accent before coming to France will seriously increase your chances of actually getting whatever you ordered, McDonalds or elsewhere.
