The holidays have a way of 'filling up the empty time' after a heartbreak and disappointment in someone you thought you knew and someone who should've known YOU well enough not to do it to you.
Now that the holidays are over and you are going to get back in your regular routine....you are going to feel the loss in a fresh way. Each person is different as to how long that pain lasts.....but other than whatever time it takes....you just go through the motions until you start feeling better.
It's a very difficult time and I really don't know what makes one feel better while they are going through it. You live in a roller coaster for awhile....wishing the ride would stop. One day....it will....and you will feel like yourself again.
That's all I know....but I DO know it to be true.
