I think that believeing that you have absolute righteousness is destructive, and can only lead to ignorance.

If you're unwilling to open your beliefs to challenge and rigor, you can hardly learn much from them at all.

I like to think God reveals truth to me slowly over time, and not all at once--meaning, it's absurd for me to think that I'm absolutely right.
