Yeah, my dad/mom/grandpa think that it's "weak" to go to a therapist. I don't look at it as being strong or weak, I look at it as a way to learn how to function properly, sort of like taking a class.

Sylvia Plath and Virginia Woolfe were two authors who both were misdiagnosed. Virginia Woolfe was schitzophrenic, and Sylvia Plath...maybe bipolar. I read the "Bell Jar," and I never figured her out.

Maybe with some help they would have lived longer, and not taken their own lives.

It's intersting to me that some of the most talented artists (painters/poets/sculpters) had mental diseases. Wasn't it Vincent VanGogh who cut off his ear for a woman?
