My lovely daughter Krystal has a boyfriend now. He's a boy she grew up with in grade school and dated for a little while when she was 13. I didn't really like him then, he was a bit of a troubled kid but now he seems to be OK. I seen him quickly the day that Krystal came back home (he brought her home) and he seemed very respectful and clean!!!! I liked the first impression I got.
He's apparently not getting himself into anymore trouble, is in school and seems to be very good for and to Krystal. He came in that day and held her baby (which impressed me). The best part! He doesn't wear pants down to his knees!!!!!!!!!
Today, he took Krystal and Kassandra to the mall and Wallmart shopping. He bought krystal pajamas, socks and hair dye. That's on top of buying her a birthstone ring and bracelet for christmas. I told her that he's a keeper! :wink:
I told her that we'll have to have him over often so her dad and i can get to know him better. She says she's afraid because we're "weird" so I told her that every family is weird. we're no exception and I wouldn't do anything to embarass her. I'm so happy that she's got a boyfriend that doesn't look like he belongs in a gang or a rap signer. I think this boy can be a very good influence on her. this could be a very good thing.
