Well I was dumped and didn't see it coming although I should have. It was the biggest hurt of my life and I'll never completely forget it.
However, the positive side of it is that I would never do that to another person. I know for a fact that I really hurt someone when I was much younger and it sometimes creeps up on me. If I ever run into that gal again, I'll give her my deepest apologies. I'm sure it won't matter in the slightest to her but it will bring me some peace.
