Writer's Block PDF Print E-mail
Written by Duke

The new look and feel of Lifesupporters.com, has brought about changes in my commitment toward keeping theEntertainment news page up to date. I will admit that I've allowed the news page here to lapse into mediocrity on more than one occasion due to time constraints within my daily life however, I cannot use this excuse as of late.

It seems as if I'm suffering from a major case of writers block right now as I can't seem to put more than a few coherent sentences together at any one time. The sad part is, even these minor ramblings are usually deleted during the editing process as they form what I consider to be "filler phrases" at best.

Until recently, I actually thought writer's block was a myth that writer's used as an excuse to take a "brain vacation" but I'm finding this isn't the case, at least not as I can see. In an attempt to understand writer's block and maybe help others who are temporarily suffering from this affliction, I've gathered the following resources:

In my case, I believe writer's block is really a side effect of a much larger project overshadowing Lifesupporters.com News Page currently. As of last nigh (July 02, 2007), my daughter and I finished outlining a project we're working on together and have started pre-production/ set design. It may very well be that my case of writer's block is due to my focus on this other project as I hope to send a strong message to parents how their actions can affect their children's daily lives as well as their childs future.

Stay tuned.
